Pepperjam Partners with RingRevenue to Enhance Multichannel Strategy

  
  
  
pepperjam logo resized 600We are excited to share the news today that Pepperjam Network, a GSI Commerce ® company (Nasdaq: GSIC) and a recognized leader in online performance marketing announced their partnership with RingRevenue and plans to deliver call performance marketing to their clients to drive increased sales and better ROI.  “The demand for pay-per-call services is very clear from our merchants and publishers,” said Steve Denton, president of GSI Media and Pepperjam.

Adding RingRevenue’s call performance marketing to their offering gives Pepperjam’s clients a “true multichannel strategy that incorporates online, offline and mobile promotions.” According to Denton, many Pepperjam clients transact a significant percentage of their business over the phone and will benefit from adding pay-per-call to their marketing strategy to help increase sales on this side of the business.

Merchants on the new Pepperjam pay-per-call platform will be able to integrate their online campaigns with their call-based campaigns. When setting up campaigns, merchants can now easily set up custom Interactive Voice Response (IVR) menus, customized call routing preferences, set up geo-targeting, and manage publisher commissions based on the quality of calls they receive. Publishers will get access to free call-tracking numbers, call analytics and creative services to help them optimize and scale their campaigns.

GSI Commerce is no stranger to news lately. In late March, eBay agreed to acquire GSI Commerce for $2.4 billion. According to an article posted on the New York Time’s Dealbook, one of the main drivers of the acquisition is the changing face of commerce. “‘The boundary between offline and online commerce is coming down at a stunning rate,” said John Donahoe, eBay’s chief executive, creating a “multichannel environment” that is changing the way retailers do business and how they reach their customers.”
