Calls Ring Up Rewards for Loyalty Member Programs

We've blogged about how easy it is for loyalty marketers to reward consumers for purchases made over the phone. The post, (which includes a detailed How-To Video) outlines the benefits for loyalty members, advertisers and loyalty marketers. We've been pretty hot on the idea and have been getting loyalty marketers fired up about the service ever since. One of those marketers is newly announced RingRevenue partner, Tapjoy, Inc.
Tapjoy's Mobile Value Exchange allows mobile users to earn virtual currency and rewards by self-selecting advertiser offers and taking actions such as liking something on Facebook, watching a video, taking a survey or making purchases with participating providers. But for some advertisers, particularily those with products or services that require a more consultative sales approach, getting a mobile user to click isn't the optimum "action". Getting them to call and speak directly with a sales agent is the real goal. Companies like insurance providers, financial services firms, high-end retailers often value phone calls from prospective customers above other types of leads.
Now, through integration with our call performance marketing platform, Tapjoy can credit loyalty members for phone calls as well.
Here is how it works.
Mobile users in Tapjoy's ad exchange can chose from a variety of offers available to them. If they tap on an ad from an advertiser that has signed up for the call-based program, the mobile user is presented with the option to place a phone call to the advertiser in order to complete the qualifying action, whether making a purchase, getting a quote for a service, or completing a customer survey. Once the action has been completed, the user gets immediate access to their reward currency or premium content.
The beauty of how this all works is that advertisers can get access and distribution over broad networks like Tapjoy's, but need not worry about the quality of the calls they are receiving. The RingRevenue platform can be configured to run each caller through a series of quality filters prior to being connected to a call center agent, so that only the calls likely to result in the desired action are connected.
Advertisers like Allstate insurance are already seeing great results with call-based advertising through Tapjoy. The call volume is consistently high and the caller quality is excellent. Once callers make it through the qualification process, the average phone call is lasting 15 minutes or more and resulting in an auto insurance quote.
