RingRevenue Presents: Our First Hackathon!
Posted by Molly Greathouse on Mon, Aug 13, 2012
Attention hackathon fans! We’re excited to announce that RingRevenue’s development team will be hosting our first ever 24-hour Hackathon at our Santa Barbara headquarters on Friday, August 17th until Saturday, August 18th. The theme is real-time and mobile web development, and the event will take place at 8 East Figueroa St., Suite 240 starting at 6:00 pm.

Since Santa Barbara hosts a number of great local business events, we decided that it was time to get in on the action. Unlike Santa Barbara’s previous StartupWeekend, RingRevenue is less interested (ie - not!) in starting new companies and finding new job opportunities, but instead our focus will be on exploring emerging technologies and collaborating with local teams.
Here at RingRevenue, we have always been intrigued by the vastness of technology; all that it does, and can, achieve. That is the idea behind our Hackathon: we want to create new ways to do things with technology and then share this information with our respective companies. This Hackathon will be beneficial to all of those in attendance, and together, we will reach new heights. We would not be surprised if many of these new technologies created at the Hackathon woven into our respective company’s products in the coming year.
RingRevenue will provide the power (food, drink, electric) and plenty of spare monitors and space to hack. All you will need to bring is your own laptop, charger and, of course, your genius ideas to collaborate on!
